Whilst the hall remains closed to regular users and hirers, and we are unable to open Charlie’s bar or run other hall events, hall management continues to operate behind the scenes.
The Village Hall Management Committee will be holding our Annual General Meeting on 23rd June at 7pm. Unfortunately, due to current restrictions we are unable to meet in person and will be holding the meeting remotely.
As always, we welcome input from our users, whether regular or one-off hirers. If you would like to be represented at the meeting, please email any queries or comments to the hall email address – firstname.lastname@example.org.
As you are no doubt aware, all activity at Great Witley Village hall has stopped and the Hall remains shut for the foreseeable future. This includes the playground at the back of the hall. We will keep this under constant review and will let you know when the hall can be booked again for events later in the year.
In the meantime we all wish you well and hope that you can stay safe. In Great Witley and Hillhampton there is a good neighbour scheme so if anyone needs shopping or medications collected or needs to talk to someone please do contact them – contact details are in the flyer.
These are challenging times but our community spirit will see us through. Stay safe and hope to see you at the Hall soon.
Following the Government’s latest advice, all events at Great Witley Village Hall have been cancelled or postponed for the foreseeable future. This includes film nights, coffee mornings and all activities at the hall. We are not taking any bookings for private events until things become clearer at the end of April.
Let us hope that this thing passes us by without too many problems but just in case, there is a good neighbour scheme in Great Witley if anyone is in need of help. There is a mobile number and email for the good neighbour scheme offering help such as collecting prescriptions, picking up shopping, a friendly phone call, posting letters, and walking dogs. See the flyer for contact details.
